Position Summary:
The territory:
This sales territory encompasses key markets including Los Angeles, Riverside, Bakersfield, San Diego, and Las Vegas. The ideal candidate will manage relationships across these regions, driving growth and engagement in high-impact accounts.
Preferred Home Base: Los Angeles, CA — centrally located for efficient access to all major cities within the territory.
Ideal Candidate Profile – Southern California Autoimmune Sales
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong blend of scientific knowledge, interpersonal skills, and a self-driven approach. Key qualifications include:
Required Experience:
2–3 years of experience in a hospital laboratory setting as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or a similar role in hospital, research, or reference labs
OR
Direct sales experience in the autoimmune laboratory market
Education:
A science degree is strongly preferred
Additional Requirements:
Sales experience is not required if the candidate has relevant lab experience or a science background
Must possess an outgoing, organized, and self-motivated personality
Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
Willingness and ability to travel extensively
Travel Requirements:
Up to 50% travel
Daily in-person visits to hospitals and accounts from a home office base
4–6 overnight trips per month
