The Human Resources Internship offers students hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced HR environment. This opportunity provides meaningful exposure to HR compliance, administrative support, and the daily operations of a high-functioning HR team.

 

This role offers valuable insight into the core HR functions while fostering essential professional skills such as interpersonal communication, process improvement, public speaking, and time management. This position will have the opportunity to attend relevant trainings and meetings, further enhancing their understanding of the HR field.

 

Designed for students pursuing careers in Human Resources or Business, this internship offers real-world experience and professional development opportunities to build a strong foundation for future success.

 

This position follows a hybrid work schedule, offering a blend of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility based of our Norcross office. 

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities

  • Support in Werfen harmonization and branding of employee handbook, policies, and job descriptions
  • Document and organize internal processes
  • Support with data accuracy and audits within ADP and HRIS systems
  • Partner with Recruiter in scheduling interviews, screening resumes, and iCIMS management
  • Develop a calendar of job fairs and community events
  • Conduct audits of employee data and personnel files
  • Work on various HR related projects, from design to execution (process improvement, auditing, data management)
  • Support and collaborate in DEI and ERG initiatives
  • Coordinate with HRBPs on employee engagement events
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing B.S. in Engineering, Finance, Business, or Marketing with a minimum of 2 college semesters completed.
  • Proactive, eager to learn, and able to work well in a team environment.
  • Exhibit a high level of professionalism and confidentiality while handling sensitive information
  • Strong verbal & written communication, interpersonal abilities, attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Must have excellent organization skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment. Ability to multi-task while working in a fast paced environment.
