Job Summary

 

The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for overseeing the Marketing Communications function at Werfen’s Transfusion and Transplant technology centers, including enhancing Company image and communications to internal and external customers.  Ensures that Company branding, advertising, support materials, and other communications are consistent with the Company’s strategic vision, messaging and image. 

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities

  • Acts as Transfusion and Transplant Brand Champion for Werfen Transfusion and Transplant Technology Centers
  • Ensures compliance with Werfen global branding standards and guidelines
  • Manages quality process to ensure that all Transfusion and Transplant marketing material receives the appropriate approval before it is released
  • Supports distribution and version control of marketing materials
  • Manages annual review of marketing materials
  • Manages storage of marketing materials and image banks
  • Supports, coordinates and represents Transfusion and Transplant product lines for the global Werfen website
  • Manages periodic Marketing newsletters, website updates, webinar outputs, and technology center social media submissions
  • Executes light graphic design work
  • Supports the planning and execution of Transfusion and Transplant technology center events including tradeshows, scientific advisory meetings, global marketing meetings, etc.
  • Ensures successful and efficient relationships, processes and collaborations with other entities within Werfen Transfusion and Transplant and across Werfen

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field required.
  • 3+ years of marketing experience in the regulated medical device/invitro diagnotics industry highly preferred.

Skills & Capabilities:

  • Advanced knowledge of graphic design software, ex: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word) required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, project management and organizational skills required.
  • Proven track record of success in leading multiple projects to achieve goals and timelines.
  • Working knowledge of in-vitro diagnostics field is preferred.

Travel Requirements:

Approximately 10%
