Job Summary

The Calibration & Facility Technician III is responsible for a variety of tasks involving: managing the preventative maintenance and calibration, and on-demand repair program[SS1.1] [SS2.1][KS2.2]for all manufacturing and laboratory equipmentensuring timely resolution and compliance with Werfen’s procedures and exoectations. Provide oversight and support to the Manufacturing and Quality Control laboratory equipment. Other miscellaneous tasks to help keep facility up and running for optimal manufacturing operations.

Key Accountabilities

• Coordinate the site’s master calibration and preventitive maintenance program of equipment, instrumnets, and facility to ensure their conformance to corporate and regulatory policy.
• Responsible to test, calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment per established procedures.
• Schedule service providers for on-site and off-site calibration or PM needs.
• Understand and comply with any/all guidelines within the company Quality Manual, cGMP, GDP, FDA, ISO, Housekeeping, and Departmental Compliance.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repair of the utility equipment and the Facility (this includes but is not limited to House Vacuume system, Air Compressor, Back-up Generators, and the genral upkeep of the facility)
• Manage real-time temperature monitoring alarms and their recovery activities with the owning department.
• Responsible for confirmation of weekly and daily cleaning logs.

Networking/Key relationships

Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:

• Associates’s Degree (AA)or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Isensix Refrigerator and Freezer Remote monitoring system
• House Vacumme and Compressed Air system knowledge.
• Laboratory exposure us a must.

Skills and Capabilities required for the position:

The Calibration & Facilities Technician III role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to support team objectives.

• Must be proficient in the use of instrumentation required to maintain the facility and production equipment.
• Must be able to work closely and communicate with other departments
• Must be able to work overtime and weekend when needed to meet customer demands.
• Abilty to apply common sense understandng to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral and diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems invoving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Shows commitment to quality and total manufacturing satisfaction by dedicating their skills to achieve zero error.
